The right way to BE UNIQUE

Libera

Composing is knowing.
As far as I am concerned, the great secret of architecture lies exactly in this sentence which I ask you to remember while working from one job to another

Adalberto Libera (1903 – 1963)
ARCHITECT

Anima San Gregorio Armeno

Anima San Gregorio Armeno

Inspiration

Inspired by architect Adalberto Libera, one of the most creative advocates of architectural rationalism in Italy. Prominent designer of public buildings, he designed neat and crisp architectural volumes yet rich in symbolic and ideal value. His works feature classical elements deprived of any ornament and reduced to pure essence, freed from any rhetoric or dogmatism.

Personality

Our Libera frame style is dedicated to people with strong personalities, marked by a clear essence and a mindful awareness of their means. These people are inclined to an emotional, spectacular, elusive, yet rationally controlled take on reality.

Description

  • Biocetate:the frame is in Mazzucchelli M49 bioacetate, 100% recyclable and biodegradable, without chemical agglomerates to avoid allergic reactions and its natural origin is also revealed to the touch with a pleasant “warm and silky effect”.
  • Front frame: the clean lines of the front leave no room for superfluous embellishments providing the neat timelessness which was so dear to the rationalist architect. The slight distortion of the horizontal and vertical lines is inspired by the Casa Malaparte project in Capri.
  • Temples: the oar-style temples owe their name to the shape that resembles a rowing oar. The earpiece temple tip is pierced with an “O” inspired by Good’s logo.
